It’s not always what you think.

Message from a volunteer….

It’s not always what you think. Yes, mental health and addiction may play a part for some.

What I’ve learned with those I’ve spoken with who have shared their experience and what led them to Clothed in Righteousness…

*Contracting Covid which led to hospitalization resulting in job loss.

*A house fire in which the insurance company has not been reactive to their situation so they wait. And wait. This family is now in a shelter.

*Another family works full time but their wages do not cover all expenses for rent, utilities and food.

We are all not so fortunate to have family to fall back on when times are tough.

I encourage all of you to show empathy and not pre judge. Join us for a night at CIR and help in the clothing closet, serve food or just come and be an ear and let them know you care.

I promise you, it will make a difference for them. And you.
